It is not surprising therefore that I accepted a lunch invitation to discuss an opportunity which would involve me moving back to London after 7 years in Birmingham. I agreed to go for 2 reasons: first, it was Jonathan who was asking and I knew that he wouldn’t waste my time. Second, he had told me enough about the opportunity to gain my interest and flattered me enough to make sure that I felt I ought to find out more. If only it wasn’t in London.
